Welcome to the Derry Chinese School - 欢迎来到德立中文学校

A community Chinese language and Culture school in Derry, New Hampshire

Our Vision: The Derry Chinese School was founded to teach Chinese primarily as a second language, using the best teaching practices researched by second language teaching experts as well as Chinese experts. Another strong component of the school is the exposure of all students to authentic Chinese culture. The school is run based on the needs of the parents and students, with a strong board and principal to represent parent and student wishes and to monitor quality.

New course - Chinese for Travelers

Chinese for Travelers

Intended for the adult or high school aged student, this course is for the student interested in learning the expressions necessary for a comfort level while traveling in China, including accessing restaurants and shopping. Activities will include practice of basic expressions, an overview of Chinese culture, restaurant etiquette, and shopping suggestions. This course will concentrate more on conversation and culture than reading and writing the language.
